No Scam, Please!
This article is our response and actions acted against a series of scam messages sent out using our service.
Recently we have received a number of complaints and notifications from the public as well as some official authorities, that some of our users have been using our sms service (AuraSMS) to blast bulk messages which suspected to be huge internet scam. And we have been requested to reveal their profiles.
Based on the locations, date, time and message provided by those helpful feedback, we have started our internal investigation and successfully tracked down a few suspicious accounts that involved these SCAMs. To our capabilities and as our role to fight against SCAM, we have suspended those accounts and have submitted their profiles to regional law enforcement. These suspicious accounts will be frozen until we receive further notice from the authorities or after all investigation is completed.
We will not tolerate scammer using our service as a tool for their SCAM.
To alert the general public to avoid similar “traps”, we will share some of the messages provided by the general public. These are the first step of the scam series.
